The former People's Sexiest Man Alive told the outlet that people often expect his 'secret' to be related to a restrictive diet or intense, top-secret workout regimen.

'People ask me, 'Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs? Do you have a cheat day?'' Rudd recalled.

Although he is dedicated to daily cardio and a minimum of three-days of weight lifting, Rudd believes that the 'most important part of training is sleep.

'People will set their alarm and then sleep for four hours and they'll get up so that they can train. They're doing themselves a disservice. If you can somehow get eight hours of sleep . . .' he explained.

Later, Rudd gave the outlet a glimpse at his daily routine which begins with coffee and cardio on an empty stomach -- something he said he 'never would've done' before signing on to play the Marvel superhero, Ant-Man.

He continued: 'I lift weights, hopefully at least three times a week.'

Rudd entered the Marvel Universe in 2015 and has seen appeared as Ant-Man in a 2018 sequel, and the soon-to-released film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

With years of superhero training under his belt, Rudd has 'learned so much about how my body reacts to foods, how it reacts to exercise, and where I'm happiest and how much it affects me mentally.

'If I'm in this [superhero] suit, running around playing a character who's supposed to be a superhero, I just feel better. And I feel less like an impostor.'
