Lizzo released a music video for her song Special on Wednesday.

The Truth Hurts singer, 34, sported a superhero costume for the video as she went around her neighborhood saving people while dealing with people debating if she was a 'hero or women-ace.'

For the chorus, the beauty sings, 'In case nobody told you today / You're special (special) / In case nobody made you believe / You're special (special).'

Both the video and the song focused on the importance of loving oneself, supporting others, and self-esteem.

Since bursting onto the music scene with her chart-topping hit Truth Hurts in 2017, the superstar has been a champion of body positivity and has made inclusivity one of her main goals.

The video starts with Lizzo flying into the frame in a purple figure-hugging superhero costume, complete with a mask and long purple nails.

Her long dark hair is left down in tight curls down her back, and she sports purple eyeshadow on her eyelids.

The music begins as she enters her home, throws her suit onto a chair, and climbs into bed while wearing a sweatshirt from her inclusive shapewear company Yitty.

Her first verse focuses on somebody criticizing a video she'd posted and wondering if it wasn't her posting it, would they have a problem?

Lizzo searches up the video and pours herself a bowl of cereal as she watches someone on the news talking about her being a superhero with the words 'Lizzo: Hero or Women-ace?'

She then sings, 'Is it just because I'm Black and heavy? Y'all don't hear me though.'

The video cuts to her character working at a local diner, clad in a purple old-fashioned waitress outfit. Her hair is up in a high ponytail, and she has a name tag on that says Melly.

The songstress looks down at the checkbook and sees that someone wrote 'Eat a salad' on it. She shakes it off, but then two boys hit her with a spitball.

During this part, she sings, 'Fame is pretty new but I've been used to people judging me / That's why I move the way I move and why I'm so in love with me.'

As the first chorus comes in, the camera cuts to a little girl who looks like a younger Lizzo crossing the street. She is playing with an action figure of Lizzo's superhero alter-ego.

She then has to save the little girl from an oncoming car as she sings the chorus.
