Fans were all left saying the same thing about EastEnders' episode on Thursday night which saw square newbie Emma Harding aggressively confronting a young schoolgirl.

Emma (Patsy Kensit) has arrived in Albert Square to secretly take care of her daughter Lola (Danielle Harold) and her daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown) and has managed to keep her identity as their relative under the radar so far.

And after learning of her daughter's terminal illness, Emma took her protective mother role to the next level.

Struggling with the later stages of her brain tumour, Emma and Lola's first run-in came in the form of a hair appointment as the mother booked a slot with the hairdresser on her first day returning to work.

But Lola had to rush out after falling unwell thanks to the strong medication cycle she is currently on.

Emma left Lola a hefty tip despite her hair not being done and arrived in the salon the following day for a second appointment, this time for her nails.

Their conversation turned to Lola's illness, and Emma is left in disbelief when her daughter reveals that the cancer is terminal and there is nothing the doctors can do.

It leads Lola to explain how her daughter Lexi getting abuse in school for her health woes and vlogs which provide updates about it.

Emma seems to take a particular interest in this detail, and decides to head out from her appointment with revenge on her mind.

Later on, Emma is spotted outside the gates of Lexi's school to confront a pupil called Maisie, who Lola revealed to be the child picking on her daughter.

After hearing another child shout out her goodbyes to Maisie while heading home, Emma jumps into action and follows Maisie closely behind.

She then grabs on to the little girl's bag, startling her to turn around and face stone-faced Emma.

Emma gives a dark threat: 'If you ever, ever upset Lexi again - you'll have me to answer to, alright?'
