Katherine Ryan has shared the heart-stopping moment she locked herself home while her one-month-old daughter, Fenna Grace was still inside.

The comedian, 39, took to her Instagram story on Friday to share home surveillance footage of when she realised she couldn't get back into her home.

In every parent's worst nightmare, the Masked Singer UK star panicked as she realised she had left her phone and newborn baby inside.

The star then started frantically searching her pockets while carrying her one-and-a-half-year-old son Fred.

Katherine then shared a follow-up video to her Instagram story to reassure concerned fans that her daughter was safe inside at the time.

During the video, the mum-of-three held her baby girl in her arms as she relaxed and told her fans that the baby was 'sleeping in a safe space'.

She also confirmed with her many followers that she could see the baby through the window the entire time.

The initial video was first shared by her partner Bobby Koostra, who took to Instagram to share the clip before he rescued Katherine.

And during the video, Katherine can be seen looking up at the camera as she said, 'I did something really bad', hoping that Bobby would see the live video and come to the rescue.

Her partner then captioned the clip with a funny caption: 'My wife locked the baby in the house to get me home from the golf course immediately.'

After the nightmare incident, Katherine took to her stories to share what some fans had said to her after releasing the video footage.

She said, 'Sorry for posting yesterday’s dramatic video with no resolution. A lot of people, especially Gen Zs, are like, “How did he know you needed rescuing? How did he save you if you didn’t have a phone? What did you do?".
