And Denise Welch has admitted that she has been barraged with hate for posting unfiltered snaps in her swimwear online.
The Loose Women panellist, 64, has shut down online trolls who leave nasty comments for the sultry snaps as she breaks the mould.
Brushing off the backlash, the star explained that she does it to empower other women who may lack the confidence to to the same.
Appearing on pal Kaye Adams' How To Be 60 podcast, Denise spoke candidly about feeling comfortable in her own skin and embracing ageing.

'If anybody says that I help to empower women then that's a badge I'll wear.
'I get so much flack for still posing in swimsuits at 64 but I don't care because if one person says "I was feeling really low on myself and I saw you in a swimsuit and you’re in your sixties.."
'And you know, I don’t filter them - partly because I don’t know how to,' she explained.
Denise went on to add that she was the 'poster girl' for it never being too late to do anything as she recalled having her second child, Louise Vincent, at age 42.
While she also looked back at meeting husband Lincoln Townley later in life, dubbing him the 'love of my life'.
