Love Island's Will Young 'failed to turn up for dates and led girl on' trends now
Love Island's Will Young has been accused of leading on a TikTok user after she spotted his videos on the social media platform.
The California resident, named Laura, claims she was visiting London when she saw clips of Will, 23, who she thought she was 'adorable'.
Laura contacted Will via direct message on Instagram and has now recounted her 'unfortunate' experience with the farmer after she claims he lead her on and repeatedly ghosted her.
Speaking in a TikTok video, she said: 'Get ready with me while I talk to you about my unfortunate experience with Will from Love Island.
'So, in 2021, peak Covid, I saw Will on TikTok and I thought he was adorable, and so I slid into his DMs on Instagram thinking he wouldn't respond but he did. We had a scintillating conversation.

'After a bit of banter I told him that I actually go to London quite a lot to see family so it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for me to see him in the future. My friends were also pretty impressed by him.
'So when I was in London that summer we made plans to get drinks and he was going to come down to London and we were going to hang out.
'This was around the time of the World Cup so he was with his friends and I was with my friends, and once we saw each other we kind of separated from the group and we were in our own little world.
'Immediately he was being so couple-y but I really liked it. I was smitten. He was spinning me around, twirling me and being like, "You're so beautiful." Gross, now.'
She continued: 'He was saying stuff like, "I already feel like there's this connection between us. I know we just met but I really feel like we're getting along."
'So we rendezvoused back to where he was staying but before I left to go back to my place, he called me an Uber home and he was like, "I really want to see you tomorrow. After the game let's go hang out."
'I immediately cancelled my plans I had for the next day and I thought we were going to hang out but he never showed up.'
Laura explained how she attempted to call him but he never answered and she later got a message to say he'd left his passport at the pub and needed to reschedule their meeting.

She continued: 'For the sake of time, I'm going to graze over the parts where he blew me off several other times.
'And I know what you're thinking, "Laura, let the man go! He doesn't want you." Whenever he blew me off he'd insist that he did want to see me and that his excuses were legitimate and I believed him.
'So, my family and I were going to go to Scotland and go back home to California but Will was like, "Please extend your trip and come back after Scotland to London and we can hang out. You're going to come to the farm, we're going to spend the weekend together. I'm going to make up for all the times that I accidentally blew you off."
'Stupid me was like, "Yeah, let me do that." So, when I get to London without my family I try to make plans with him and he takes forever to respond and I'm only there for a week, so I was like, "Will, I'm running out of time. Are we hanging out? Are we going to the farm? What's up?"
'After me spending the entire week sitting in my room being depressed, he is finally like, "Can't," he said some excuse.
'Cue the waterworks, I felt so used and embarrassed. But they always come back, ladies, and Will is no exception.'
Laura went on to explain how she returned to London a few months later and posted a Snapchat story while out for lunch with a friend.
She said Will messaged her on the social media platform 'literally seconds' after she posted the story.
After Will asked for clarification if Laura was back in the UK and told her he'd love to see her, Laura said she told him: 'Why would I make time for you after last time?'
She continued: 'He said something along the lines of, "That was a unique situation last summer, I had a lot going on, let me make it up to you."
'So he said, "I'll take you to the farm like I promised last time and you can meet the pigs." So I said, "Hell no, you can come to me and make the trip to London and we can get drinks and we'll go from there."'
Laura went on to say that when she visits London she spends most of her time with friends and family so doesn't have a lot of spare time but, in this case, she added: 'I like the idea of getting free drinks and listening to Will grovel.'
The pair agreed to meet at Camden station and Laura claims Will said he was looking at times of trains but, when she came out of the shower and asked again for a definite time to meet up, she got no response.

She said she'd posted a number of stories in the space of two hours since she sent her message to him, with Laura claiming Will had viewed all of them.
Laura said she decided to go and meet her cousin after Will failed to make concrete plans to meet up again.
She concluded: 'A handful of months ago, I'd say four or five months ago, he Snapchat messages me and asked me if I'm going to be in London again any time soon.
