He's played evil criminal Tommy Lee Royce in all three seasons of the of the hard-hitting BBC crime drama.
And Happy Valley's James Norton took a trip down memory lane on Sunday as he shared a look at his character's various looks throughout the years ahead of the show's grand finale.
The actor, 37, shared a number of behind-the-scenes snaps from Tommy's look in series two of Happy Valley in which he sports a shaved head.
While images from the current and final series of the drama sees the actor rock long, straggly locks while in character as the murderer.
In the first set of pictures, James showcased his shaved look, with some snaps seeing him as Tommy with fellow prison inmates.

While others show him posing away in selfies, as well as smiling alongside his co-stars.
Captioning his snaps, he wrote: 'A few more BTS from series 2.'
A second set of images sees James - who's character Tommy is currently on the run from the law with a plan to kidnap his son Ryan - undergoing a hair transformation as he's given longer tresses.
The star is seen posing for snaps at various stages of the makeover, with James even sweeping his hair up into a bun at one point.
Captioning his newest post, he shared: 'New series, new look.'
Ahead of the final ever episode of Happy Valley, James has been treating fans to a number of throwback snaps and nostalgia-inducing posts as he looked back at his time on the BBC series.
It comes after Con O'Neill has promised fans that the finale will be sure to please loyal viewers of the drama series.
Con, 56, who plays Neil Ackroyd, appeared on Thursday's episode of This Morning where he teased details of the episode with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

He said: 'Viewers are going to enjoy. When I read the script for the last episode it blew my mind. Sally [Wainwright] has written an extraordinary ending.'
Holly then asked if it had been hard for Con and his co-stars to keep the ending under wraps.
He explained: 'It's not a hard secret to keep as we've lived with this show for a long time.
