The Migos' rappers still have significant bad blood between them following the shooting death of Takeoff on November 1, 2022. Quavo was set to take the stage to perform his song Without You as a tribute to Takeoff during the In Memoriam segment of the show when the fight broke out. The beef allegedly happened because the Grammys asked Offset - who has been married to Cardi B since 2017 - to be a part of the tribute to Takeoff but moments before he was set to take the stage, Quavo blocked him. TMZ reported that it was Quavo who started the fight. Emotional tribute: Quavo and Offset got into a physical fight backstage at the 2023 Grammy Awards before the tribute to slain rapper Takeoff Without You: Quavo wrote the song he sang in the In Memorium tribute for Takeoff Quavo wrote Without You about Takeoff. The trio formed the rap group Migos together. The three rappers were all related. Quavo was Takeoff's uncle and Offset was his cousin. They all grew up together outside of Atlanta. Prior to Takeoff's death at age 28, Offset and Quavo were good friends and hung out regularly. Following the murder of Takeoff, the two rappers had a falling out and clearly things haven't improved since then. Takeoff was shot and killed at a bowling alley in Houston after a fight broke out over a dice game. In December, Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested for the murder of the Migos rapper. Cameron Joshua was also arrested and charged with the unlawful carrying of a weapon in connection to the shooting. The WAP singer was captured on iPhone footage while she was yelling at Offset and Quavo backstage. The Bodak Yellow singer had just come offstage after presenting the award for Best Rap Album to Kendrick Lamar. 'Both of y'all wrong. This is not right. No b*****, shut the f**k up cuz you shouldn't have been talking,' Entertainment Tonight reported she said.
