Emmerdale's Marcus Dean appeared to jeopardise boyfriend Ethan Anderson's career on Monday's episode as he punched his sleazy boss Greg.

The electrician teamed up with Ethan's sister Naomi Anderson and pal Nate Robinson to set Greg up in a honeytrap plan to prove that he was bisexual and discredit claims made towards Ethan.

However, their plot went horribly wrong as Greg rumbled the plan after spotting Naomi and Marcus indiscreetly spying on him and Marcus - resulting in a violent confrontation. 

Ethan had been determined to reveal Greg's creepy behaviour after seeing him try and grope his partner Marcus, with the solicitor left disheartened after a colleague advised him to drop the case.

Ethan made a formal complaint about Greg late last year after catching him getting a little too handsy with Marcus, but his boss has vowed to escape retribution for his inappropriate behaviour.

But as Naomi plotted to help her big brother, she certainly made things worse, with Ethan's career now on the line.

After involving Nate in her plan to chat up Greg and record him making advances, the plan went pear-shaped as the businessman guessed Nate was 'playing a part' after spotting Naomi and Greg peeping.

As he confronted the trio, Greg riled up Marcus by insisting that he was the one coming onto him, goading: You wanted me and I said no!'
