Coronation Street viewers were left bemused as PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) made another arrest on Wednesday's episode.
Damon Kay (Ciaran Griffiths) was finally put in handcuffs after he forced Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) to keep drugs in his restaurant.
The dealer had just had a tense conversation with Nick and left his flat only to be accosted by the police.
Arriving to save the day, PC Tinker said: 'Out of the car, out of the car now. I'm arresting you on suspicion of class A drugs with intent to supply.'
Several viewers joked Craig appears to be the only police officer on the cobbles as he always shows up to save the day.
