A new bombshell made her move on the boys, the awkward results of the heart rate challenge were revealed and a recoupling was announced - the drama kept coming on Wednesday's episode of Love Island.

Newcomer Claudia Fogarty certainly made an impression on the housemates after she burst into the villa during the heart rate challenge.

The Blackburn beauty quickly got to work getting to know the guys as she chose Tom Clare and Casey O'Gorman for her first dates.

Elsewhere, fans warned Lana Jenkins not to trust Tanyel Raven after it was revealed Ron Hall raised Tanyel's heart rate during the challenge, despite her insisting they are just friends.

CLAUDIA RAISES RON'S HEART RATE

Things got awkward in the Love Island villa as the results of the Heart Rate Challenge were announced.

Viewers couldn't help but laugh after on-and-off again couple Lana and Ron both had their heart rates raised the most by other people.

The infamous segment made its return and saw the Islanders strip down to sexy ensembles and do their best to try and set hearts racing. 

But the results left fans shocked after Ron had his heart rate raised most by the new girl Claudia and Lana's most by Casey.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: 'The fact Ron's heart rate was raised most by the new girl', next to a series of laughing faces. 

Another said: 'Lmao what are the odds Lana's pulse raised the most for Casey'.

Meanwhile, not all viewers were shocked by Ron's results, with one viewer joking: 'Why am I not surprised?'.

Over the years, the heart rate challenge has caused tension between the couples after their pulses were raised by someone who is not their significant other.

Also unexpected - or perhaps not - was Tanyel's result, who had her heart rate raised most by 'best friend' Ron.

Viewers were unsurprised with the result with one viewer saying: 'Shock for Tanyel's heart racing bares for her BEST FRIEND'.

Another said: 'Oh I can't keep defending Tanyel she wants Ron.

'Yh Tanyel ain't beating them Ron allegations', another fan said. 

Meanwhile, only a day earlier, Lana made a U-turn with her decision to recouple with Casey when she admitted her heart was still with Ron.

And after telling Ron how she felt, the pair sealed the deal with a steamy smooch in full view of the other islanders, causing viewers to brand her 'heartless' and 'distrustful'. 

Taking to Twitter fans were quick to air their views, with several not happy with the way Lana went about things. 

'Lana plss I beg u have some semblance of self respect, it’s literally been a day since you ‘binned’ Ron off' fumed one viewer.

With a second adding: 'Bless casey, the disrespect from both lana and ron towards him is so disgusting.'

A third fumed: 'Lana is absolutely vile. Imagine having the capability to actually treat someone (Casey) like that … heartless b***h #loveisland and none of the islanders are calling her out on her disgusting behaviour!'

'Lana isn’t fooling anyone by saying Casey was a test. You didn’t like him' ranted a fourth watcher.

'I cant believe Ron and Lana kissed in front of Casey like that' ranted a shocked fifth person.

FANS SLAM OLIVIA FOR BEING OBSESSED WITH HER AGE

Love Island fans slammed Olivia for being 'obsessed' with her age. 

The brunette beauty, 27, made a comment and seemed delighted when she heard Claudia, 28, is a year older than her. 

Fans flocked to Twitter to slam Olivia for always focusing on age. 

'Olivia is actually insecure about her age it's actually embarrassing,' one fan wrote. 

'Liv is so insecure about age,' another said. 

'Olivia's obsession with age,' wrote another. 

One fan scathingly wrote: 'Olivia is so insecure about her age it's crazy. Girl you're 27 not 80. Calm down bruv.' 

'Nobody cares about your age Olivia you don't even act it,' another quipped. 

'Every time you're getting older, another woman obsessed with age sigh,' another said.  

FANS WARN LANA TO BEWARE OF TANYEL

Fns were quick to react to Tanyel's heart rate being raised by her 'bestie' Ron Hall during the racy challenge on Wednesday night.

The episode saw Tanyel straddle Ron and showcase her best moves for him, causing viewers to urge her to admit she's in love with the financial advisor.

And after results revealed that Tanyel's heart was left racing for Ron, it confirmed fans suspicion over their friendship, with one remarking: 'No way they’re just friends!'

Meanwhile, viewers have also warned Lana over Tanyels' feelings for Ron, with some saying she should 'trust' her pal around her man. 

Taking to Twitter, one person shared: 'Tanyel is deffo in love with Ron deep down.'

With another observing: 'tanyel deffo can’t wait to get with ron.' 

'Tanyel’s heart rate was raised the most by Ron??? No way they’re just friends then' said a third.

With another writing: 'Tanyel is in love w ron it’s clear'.

Referring to Lana's recently renewed romance with Ron, another viewer shared: 'Tanyel is trying so hard to separate Ron and Lana.'

'Tanyel is into Ron and she's definitely not Lana's "bestie"' said an observant person.

'If Lana has a brain she will investigate Ron and Tanyel's "friendship"' said another.

'idc about lana but surely she can see that tanyel is not her friend where ron is concerned' came the respond from a different Twitter user.

With an additional person questioning: 'How Lana trusts Tanyel and Ron, I do not know.'

Ron and Tanyel have been calling each other 'bestie' during their time in the villa as they confide in one-another for their romantic woes. 

And Love Island fans were not shocked at all during the ITV shows famous heart rate monitor challenge on Tuesday evening as Tanyel decided to straddle Ron.

The beauty showcased her jaw dropping figure in a racy pink lace bodysuit as she tried to raise the boys heart rates and put on her best moves for Ron. 

As she made her way around the boy, she stated, 'Ron you're getting it', before straddling him and twerking. He was spotted holding his hand to his face.

Ron said in the beach hut after his steamy moment with Tanyel: 'That girl has got a talent. She has got a talent for shaking'. 

CASEY RECOGNISES NEW GIRL CLAUDIA

Fans were left baffled after Casey immediately knew who Claudia's dad was.
