But on Thursday, Kyle Sandilands revealed his interview with American singer Jon Bon Jovi will always be remembered for the wrong reasons.

Kyle, 51, revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O show, he was 'so stoned' when he interviewed the rock star early in his career.

'I'm glad I haven't seen Bon Jovi for ages. The last time I saw him I was so stoned,' he told his co-host Jackie O Henderson.

'I was absolutely baked and on my own in Spain. I spent like 20 minutes talking about cowboy boots. The interview was almost inaudible.'

Kyle's confession comes after he reignited his feud with David Campbell last week after the Today Extra host was criticised for his confrontational interview with a MAFS star.

The Channel Nine presenter drew the ire of viewers when he tried to blame Jesse Burford for his wife Claire Nomarhas cheating on him with co-star Adam Seed, smugly suggesting he should have treated her better earlier in the season.

Kyle, who has loathed David for years, said on Friday the divisive segment was just another example of him being a 'flop' who 'never has anyone's back'.

The KIIS FM presenter was stunned by David's aggressive line of questioning given that Jesse is a 'nice bloke' with a lot of public support, and suggested he was blindly siding with the woman in order to look 'woke'.
