On Thursday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its first slate of presenters - including Michael B. Jordan, Emily Blunt, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and Janelle Monáe - for the 95th Oscars, which air live March 12 on ABC.
Traditionally, whomever wins the acting categories returns the next year to present, but 2022 best actor winner Will Smith was banned from attending any Academy events - in person or virtually - for a decade.
And thanks to the disgraced 54-year-old's violent assault against presenter Chris Rock, newly-hired Academy CEO Bill Kramer told TIME last month he established a crisis communication team which 'will be prepared for anything.'
2022 best actress winner Jessica Chastain will also be unable to attend the Oscars, because her 16-week Broadway play A Doll's House officially opens March 9 at the Hudson Theatre in Manhattan.
However, both of the 2022 best supporting actor winners Troy Kotsur and Ariana DeBose - who made history, respectively, as the first deaf male actor and first openly gay woman of color to win - will return to Hollywood's Dolby Theatre stage to present.
