Cheryl opted for a dewy glam makeup look with a swipe of nude lipstick as she flashed her dazzling white smile. She wore her brunette hair in a bouncy blow dry for her 2:22 A Ghost Story performance. The singer is currently starring in 2:22 A Ghost Story at the Lyric Theatre in London. The nightly performances have reportedly been blighted though after 'disgusting' notes were left for her at the theatre. A source told The Sun : 'There's at least one nutter who has been sending some pretty disgusting and disturbing messages. 'She hasn't been shown them but they're included with the flowers people leave after performances. 'Cheryl has enough to think about on stage to a packed theatre each night without having to think about that too, but steps have been taken to ramp up security and put her mind at rest.' It's been reported that Cheryl has a team of her own security monitoring her movements and escorting her everywhere, while she has a car waiting for her outside the stage door to whisk her back to her Buckinghamshire home. The former EastEnders actor, 50, reprised his role as Ben in the supernatural thriller after People Just Do Nothing's Hugo Chegwin withdrew from the show due to illness during rehearsals. Cheryl portrays Jenny in the play and Jake insists she has been 'remarkable' given that she has no previous acting experience. He told the Mirror : 'I'm sure Cheryl felt the pressure but, after years in the industry, I think she's pretty fearless. 'It's quite remarkable to see someone who has never acted before come on stage at the West End, she is in the spotlight, with all that pressure. 'It's quite amazing how resilient she is, really. And she is giving amazing performances, people are blown away by how good she is.' Acclaimed performance: Last week Cheryl's co-star Jake Wood said the theatre newcomer has been 'fearless' in her approach to her West End debut Jake, who originally played Ben opposite pop star Lily Allen, 37, in 2021, discussed how some people were closed minded when it came to Cheryl appearing in the production. The ex soap star recognised that performing in a theatre in front of a 'few hundred' people is like water off a duck's back for pop stars who have played to arenas packed with thousands of fans. Cheryl took over from television presenter Laura Whitmore when she joined the new cast for the show, which is running at the Lyric Theatre until April 23, featuring Horrible Histories actress Louise Ford as Lauren and theatre star Scott Karim as Sam.
