The Bachelor's Sam Wood has shared his number one tip for parenting his teenage daughter Eve, 17.
In a column for 9Honey, the 42-year-old revealed the best thing to do is to listen to your teenager.
'I'm no expert parent. I am learning like everyone else: as I go – but I hope I can share what I've learnt and it can help anyone else going through the same thing,' he wrote.
He then revealed the importance of listening, by adding: 'This is something which, historically, I haven't done well.'
'I'd fallen into the trap of just telling Eve what I thought she should do. I had been so concerned with the solution that I hadn't actually seen her point of view. She didn't need the answer (or my answer!).'
