Shakira cuts a stylish figure in rose covered jacket as she arrives at JFK ... trends now

Shakira looked in good spirits as she arrived at JFK Airport in New York City on Thursday with her two sons.

The singer, 46, looked effortlessly stylish as she walked alongside her boys, Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight.

She donned a black T-shirt teamed with a pair of ripped black jeans and white trainers.

Keeping the cold at bay, she wrapped up in a black padded jacket that was covered in red roses.

Shakira added a coordinating rose-patterned baseball cap and hid her eyes behind a pair of black sunglasses.

Her two boys matched each other in blue hoodies, light wash jeans and white trainers.

It comes after it was reported that Shakira is planning to move to Miami in three weeks time. 

Last year, it was revealed she was making the move with, after negotiating a child custody deal with Gerard Pique.

Shakira's wish to move to Miami where she used to live and part of her family are based is understood to have been the principal sticking point in the former couple's previous failure to strike an out-of-court settlement. 

She was expected to move to the States at the end of the school year after putting back an original departure date in early January because of her 91-year-old dad William Mubarak's poor health.

But speculation is growing the Colombian singer-songwriter has now set her heart on a new date of April 1. 

Laura Fa, one of two journalists who regularly report on the mother-of-two, told Catalan newspaper El Periodico: 'What we're being told today is that she's got a scheduled date to move there which would be April 1.

'If everything pans out she wants to go on that date.'

Colleague Lorena Vasquez added: 'This is information we're receiving from the former couple's closest circle.

'The only obstacle would be the health of Shakira's father and it's been well-documented that his health is a little bit complicated at the moment.

'Shakira's idea is to take advantage of the Spring Break in the States to be able to travel to Miami with her sons so they could start their classes when the children there come back to class.'

MailOnline has contacted Shakira's representatives for comment.  

Earlier in the year it was revealed Shakira had been forced to delay her move to America because of her dad's health.

It was revealed at the start of January: 'She cannot make the trip to Miami at the moment.
