Two weeks ago, Dan Walker shocked the nation with a selfie of his bloodied and swollen face following a horrific bike crash.
But the 45-year-old 5News anchor looked like a brand new man at the Ultimate News Quiz in aid of Action for Children at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Thursday night.
The newsreader hosted the special charity event alongside his former BBC Breakfast colleague Sally Nugent, 51.
Dressed in a dark blue suit and smart brown brogues, Dan flashed a big grin for the cameras before the star-studded event got underway.
He also marked the occasion by posting a selfie alongside Sally on his Instagram page. ‘Working with this legend tonight at the Ultimate News Quiz,’ he captioned the upload.

Dan was left battered after being hit by a car while he had been riding his bike in Sheffield on February 20.
He announced the terrifying ordeal on Instagram where he shared snaps of his injuries.
