Hamish and Zoë Foster Blake have revealed their unique approach to parenting.
The couple, who have been married since 2012 and share Sonny and Rudy together, said they sometimes take their children on separate holidays for one-on-one time.
Hamish, 41, said on Friday he has just spent four days camping on Queensland's Fraser Island with their son, eight.
Beauty entrepreneur Zoë, 42, also recently shared she had taken their daughter, five, away for some girl time.
Hamish explained: 'I don't know heaps about parenting (in fact, I started a podcast to learn more) but one thing my wife and I have stumbled upon is the power of every year blocking out a few days to do a 1on1 trip with each kid, then protecting that space fiercely.'

'You never know what's going to be the lasting memory from these trips, but that's kind of the point. You plan the big moments but it's the little moments in between where the magic lies.'
He shared a sweet picture of him and his son running on the sand dunes after taking a dip in the beach and of their matching bracelets.
'The only other thing I can offer is that getting matching survival bracelets with a whistle on them so you can communicate through thick tent walls when one of you is outside, is a MUST for safety in the bush,' he added.
