Lewis Capaldi has been forced to reschedule his remaining European tour dates as he cancelled his Barcelona gig two hours before the show on Friday.

The singer, 26, was diagnosed with bronchitis after loosing his voice on stage earlier this week and said he was 'f***ing gutted' as he apologised to his fans.

Sharing a video to Twitter, Lewis promised to rearrange the gigs in Barcelona, Madrid, Stuttgart and Munich, as he tries to avoid permanent damage to his voice.

In the heart-felt clip, he explained: 'I'm f***ing gutted to be making this video but unfortunately I'm going to have to be rescheduling the rest of my tour, that includes Barcelona tonight, Madrid tomorrow, and Stuttgart and Munich next week.

'I got told at the start of this week that I and bronchitis after loosing my voice on stage and got sent home to Glasgow and had to reschedule Zurich and Milan.'
