Pregnant Kate Ferdinand has revealed she is having another C-section as she prepares to welcome a baby girl, after she suffered a traumatic birth to son Cree. 

The former TOWIE star, 31, who is expecting her second child with husband Rio, is hoping the planned procedure 'might be easier' after her last delivery 'went wrong.' 

After welcoming Cree in December 2021, Kate admitted she cried 'every single day for five weeks' and struggled with anxiety.  

The TV personality married footballer Rio in 2019 and is also step-mum to Rio's three children Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 11. 

Speaking about her C-section on the Motherkind podcast with host Zoe Blaskey, Kate explained: 'I'm having a C-section because I had to have an emergency one last time, and that's OK.'
