Joe Exotic announces 2024 Presidential run and urges public to 'get over' his ... trends now

Jailed Joe Exotic has announced he will run for President of the United States in 2024 - with the star taking yet another swipe at his nemesis Carole Baskin in his first campaign message.

The 60-year-old - who is currently serving a 21-year prison sentence after being found guilty of a murder-for-hire plot against rival Baskin, urged fans to look past the fact he is 'incarcerated and gay' - and help him 'take the country back.'

The Netflix star - real name Joseph Allen Maldonado -  also told the public to 'get over' his killings of five aging tigers and slammed Baskin and charity PETA for allegedly killing animals.

He wrote: 'Thank you for your interest in my Campaign. Yes, I know I am in Federal Prison and you might think this is a joke but it's not. It is my Constitutional right to do this even from here.

'I have been put here only because of the corruption in the Department of Justice, three felons that were told how to lie under oath to further this agenda, two corrupt Assistant U.S. Attorneys, two corrupt FBI Agents. and one corrupt Federal Wildlife Agent.

He continued: 'That is why I am doing this, to finally give you a voice and your freedom back without fear of living in a country that thinks they own you and can tell you how to live your life.

'The only thing I did was put five very old, crippled tigers to sleep in the most humane way possible and it was approved by my USDA Inspector, so it's time to get over it. PETA kills thousands of animals a year. Carole has killed over 226 big cats and most of you eat some kind of animal everyday, so it's time to move past this issue.'

'I am here because I have a world platform to make these politicians listen to your and my concerns and give us some answers for once because all they do is lie to all of us, take our hard earned money calling it taxes, and give it away to foreign countries without them giving us anything back.'

Pleading for the public to  'put the past in the past', he continued: 'Everyone of you will be answered and listened to because this country is you--not them. We have let them run it for way to long and look at where we are?

'This country would not even be as advanced as it is now if it was not for private hard working people and people with genius minds like Elon Musk and the ones that invented the internet, cell phones, and so on.

'This wasn't done by your senators or congressmen and women. All they have done is pass laws to take your rights and money away and treat you like you're something beneath them, while they live high on the hog ripping everyone off and never paying the price for it.

He concluded: 'So put aside that I am gay, that I am in prison for now, that I used drugs in the past, that I had more then one boyfriend at once and that Carole hates my guts.

'This all has not a thing to do with me being able to be your voice. The best thing you have going for supporting me is that I am used to fighting my whole life just to get by. I am broke, they have taken everything I ever worked for away, and it's time we take this country back.

'And yes, I have people in mind that can help run this country a hell of a lot better then they are now, so lets cross that bridge when we get to it.'

Exotic will run as a candidate for the Libertarian party which 'seeks to maximize autonomy and political freedom, and minimize the state's encroachment on and violations of individual liberties.'

Exotic's candidacy means he joins confirmed Republican hopefuls Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley and Democrats Marianne Williamson and current President Joe Biden.

Exotic previously and unsuccessfully ran for President in 2016 and for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018.

This comes after it emerged the star's medical team believe his prostate cancer has spread to his bladder, with the Tiger King star refusing treatment, reported TMZ.

Exotic revealed he recently had a lot of blood in his urine and has bled a lot during his cancer treatments in a letter obtained by the publication.

His urology specialist now believes the cancer has spread to his bladder and wants the star to have further testing to confirm this, but Exotic has reportedly decided not to have treatment, writing: 'I want to stay here and just let it take its course.'

Exotic - whose real name is Joseph Maldonado- also writes: 'The world has to know just how corrupt our justice system is … If I have to be the one to die innocent in here fighting for the truth maybe people around the world will finally speak up for the truth for once.'

Referring to his fiance Seth - who has left everything to in a new will, he said: 'I could care less about dying, my birthday is coming up soon and all I want is to see Seth.'

Exotic  got back together with former flame Seth last June and has now revealed that he doesn't want anyone from his family to have anything when he dies.

Joe said, 'I'm so tired of everything that's going on there with people trying to exploit me and trying to write off my name and everything else.

'So I have my attorney Autumn Blackledge, she is the executor of the will, and I don't want any of my will or Jeff Lowe, nobody to be able to get anything from me. Trademarks, copyrights, I just gave everything to my fiancé, Seth Posey.'

He continued, 'He has been there every day for five years. I know everything about Seth, I talk to his mom and I talk to everybody.

'All these people who try to f*** with other people, just give it up because I gave it all away. And if something happens to Seth, it is in the will that it goes to his son,' said Joe.

The former zookeeper - who shot to fame alongside Carole on the Netflix documentary series 'Tiger King' - was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2021 and went on to reveal that he has signed a DNR with the Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth.

He explained that he wants former co-star John Reinke to take care of the funeral plans with his fiancé by with the help of a GoFundMe page before scattering his ashes next to those of his late husband Travis Maldonado, who took his own life at the age of 23 in 2017.

Speaking to TMZ on the phone from his prison cell in Texas, he said: 'It has been five years since 'Tiger King' and since I got arrested. I am the only Tiger King, I am the only one who will ever be the Tiger King! Okay? So move on!

'The only thing that I wanna make very clear to the world is that when I die - I've been through cancer, I've been through five years of prison - I've signed a DNR with the prison. No one is going to resuscitate me, okay?

'I want everyone to know that John Reinke has to raise a GoFundMe for my funeral, alright? And to have me cremated and to have a funeral and scatter my ashes where Travis's are at the lake. And whatever is left over, I want him and Seth to split it.

'He's been stuck with me all this time and Seth has been with be. There are so many of us in here who don't belong in here and we should be with our families, so I appreciate your support. Be my voice!'
