But Cheryl got a fright herself when she left the Lyric Theatre in London on Wednesday night after another successful performance on 2:22 A Ghost Story.
The singer, 39, jumped as she made her exit through the stage door after a fan flashed her camera.
Taking to Twitter, the user Cheryldreamsx, shared the moment Cheryl looked stunned.
They wrote: 'Crying. Didn’t realise my flash went on! Sorry Cheryl', before adding: 'the flash went on, she jumped a mile… I was like "you okay? You seen a ghost?".

Cheryl wrapped up in a black coat and grey trousers as she was escorted out of the West End venue.
She was flanked by a security guard, following a reported terrifying stalker ordeal in which 'disgusting' notes were left for her at the theatre.
