Sunburned Joe McElderry looked worlds away from his teenage X Factor heyday on Wednesday as he soaked up the sun during an idyllic beach day in Barbados.
The singer, 31, won the singing show aged just 18 in 2009 - beating off stiff competition from the likes of Stacey Solomon, Olly Murs, Rachel Adedeji and Jedward.
And now 14 years later, Joe certainly seems to have beefed up as he showed off his physique while enjoying a day by the beach during his tropical getaway to the Caribbean island.
Joe looked full of confidence as he stripped to black swimming trunks, displaying his sun-tanned frame - which he recently joked was indeed sunburnt.
Making the most of the glorious weather, The Climb hitmaker enjoyed a refreshing dip in the ocean, with Joe seen thoroughly enjoying the water.

The star shielded his eyes from the sun with a pair of dark sunglasses, while also donning a waterproof fitness watch on his wrist.
He looked relaxed as he casually strolled along the sand before stopping to take a phone call by his sun lounger.
Joe also took the opportunity to work on his fitness while on the beach, with the performer donning a blue sports T-shirt before going for a run along the shore.
It comes after Joe gave a further glimpse into his lavish lifestyle on Instagram on Thursday as he hit the beach in Barbados.
The theatre star is the latest famous face to take a holiday to the Caribbean island which is a favourite among a whole host of celebrities, including music mogul Simon Cowell.
Joe joked he was a little sunburnt as he relaxed with a cocktail in hand after hitting the beach.
In one photo, the crooner posed shirtless in a pair of black board shorts after a swim in the ocean.
He wrote: Back in my favourite place! Barbados', before adding in another snap: 'Yes I am sunburnt! I never learn! But the Rum Punch is helping.'
