Pink gave fans some insight into her protective parenting style in a new interview.
The 43-year-old pop star revealed on KTU 103.5 FM's Carolina With Greg T In The Morning Show that her daughter Willow, 11, does not have a phone.
The Philadelphia-bred songwriter — who recently announced an upcoming tour —said she won't allow the youngster to possess the mobile device until she can prove social media is good for you.
She said during the chat, 'I told [Willow], point blank, "If you can produce literature from a reputable source that tells me that social media is good for you, then you can be on it. Otherwise, good luck."'
In addition to Willow, Pink and husband Carey Hart also share a six-year-old son named Jameson.

During the conversation Pink also explained she doesn't want to 'coddle' her children for fear the world will 'eat them up.'
As a result, the entertainer strives for balance and noted there's a 'fine line' between preserving her kids' 'innocence' and 'preparing' them for adulthood.
