Brian Cox praises decision to end Succession on season four - and lashes out at ... trends now
Brian Cox channeled his inner Logan Roy in an interview discussing Succession's upcoming fourth and last season.
Last month series creator Jesse Armstrong announced that the upcoming season of the Emmy-winning HBO drama would be it's last.
And that's a decision Cox is wholeheartedly on board with.
'He's very disciplined in that way, and also he's very British in that way,' the Scottish actor, 76, told Variety. 'The American inclination is to milk it for all it's worth.'
And there's another American convention he despises - the Method acting his co-star Jeremy Strong - who plays Kendall Roy - is so fiercely committed to.

And despite agreeing that the time to end the series is here, Cox will miss it. 'I'll miss the cast, I'll miss the atmosphere, I'll miss the bonhomie,' he said.
But will he miss Logan, the outlet asked. 'Logan, probably, I'll miss a bit. But upward and onwards.'
One thing Cox will not miss is the back and forth arguing he and Strong have butted heads on - Strong's commitment to method acting.
Cox loathes the practice and called it out in his 2021 memoir Putting the Rabbit in the Hat, writing that their is 'a certain amount of pain at the root of Jeremy.'
And he isn't slamming Strong. In fact, he called him 'a wonderful actor.'
He continued, 'It's really a cultural clash,' Cox says. 'I don't put up with all that American sh*t.
