Halsey reveals she got her driver's license to do stunt driving in Americana trends now
Halsey shared the great lengths she went to in order to get the role in Tony Tost's modern-day Western, Americana.
The Without Me hitmaker, 28, admitted that she lied to the filmmaker, 47, about having her driver's license prior to taking the role, and then managed to obtain it just two weeks before doing a driving stunt on set.
The singer - who recently stunned during Paris Fashion Week - took to her Instagram Stories with two photos of her on set, including a snap of her inside of a red car.
'I didn't drive for like 5 years. I told @tonytost I could drive (I lied) got my license and then 2 weeks later showed up to set and did stunt driving day 1 lmao,' she wrote.
Another behind-the-scenes snap saw her posing in-between trailers wearing a graphic white teem black jeans and black boots.

She wore her black tresses in a shaggy do and accessorized with a studded belt.
Halsey stars as Mandy Starr in Americana, written and directed by Tost.
The movie also stars Sydney Sweeney, Eric Dane, Paul Walter Hauser, Zahn McClarnon, and Simon Rex among others.
The plot of the film surrounds a small town in South Dakota.

The crime thriller film had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 17.
Halsey has previously spoken about her driver's license. In 2020 she took to Twitter to explain that she knew how to drive, but chose not to anymore.
