Molly Shannon, 58, puts on a leggy display as she praises Florence Pugh on GMA trends now

Molly Shannon was her typical smiley self as she dropped by Good Morning America on Monday to promote her new movie, A Good Person.

The 58-year-old Cleveland, Ohio native showed off her legs in a black and white plaid mini dress and pointy white stilettos.

The Saturday Night Live alum kept warm as she added a black coat and she carried a white Chanel purse.

The Superstar sensation at one point incorporated a stylish pair of slightly oversized square-shaped black sunglasses. She wore her glossy, shoulder-length brunette hair in an off-center part and bouncy curls. 

During her sit down she praised her co-star Florence Pugh: 'It was to work with Florence Pugh — she's the greatest actress. She's such a powerhouse and I was just so excited.' 

The White Lotus star added a pair of hoop earrings as she made her way to the Times Square studio.

Molly, who's married to artist Fritz Chesnut, was interviewed by Michael Strahan, whose praises she sang on Instagram while promoting her brief segment.

During the chat she discussed how director Zach Braff inspired her to take on the role in his drama-comedy.

When asked by the former NFL star what made her want to take on the role of Diane, the mother of Pugh's character, she said, 'Well, it was really Zach Braff, who directed it. He's so amazing.'

Then she mentioned Pugh, adding, 'It was to work with Florence Pugh — she's the greatest actress. She's such a powerhouse and I was just so excited.'

Shannon also gushed about performing alongside the legendary Morgan Freeman in one scene.

'It was really the combination of getting to play Florence's mom and then also having a scene with Morgan — just a dream come true.'

'Florence is so young but she just commands a set like no one else,' she remarked during the sit-down.
