Amy Shark is showing off her newfound confidence on the cover of Australia's Rolling Stone magazine.

The singer-songwriter dares to bare by going topless on the cover, admitting: 'I never thought I would ever do a shoot like this.'

The Australian Idol judge protects her modesty by letting her long brown hair cover her chest.

In an accompanying interview, the 36-year-old admitted that her self-esteem was lacking at the start of her career.

'Like, zero self-esteem, especially with photoshoots,' she said, before adding: 'I've got a lot more confidence now.'
