Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were a dapper duo on Monday night when they joined Viola Davis for a screening of their new film Air in New York City.

Affleck, 50 – who recently gushed about his wife Jennifer Lopez – looked cool and casual in a gray sweater and striped slacks, while Damon, 52, oozed classic style in his black ensemble. 

Davis, 57, looked radiant in a white blazer and black shirt, giving her lips a pop of bright red color and wearing her short hair in lustrous waves. 

The three Oscar winners beamed beside each other as they posed on the red carpet, capping a triumphant rollout for their film in The Big Apple.

After the screening, the A-listers took to the stage and discussed their biographical sports drama, which is shaping up to be a surefire hit.

Slated for release on April 5, Air tells the story of the rise of the sneaker brand Air Jordan and is directed by Affleck.

It has earned rave reviews and even received a standing ovation when it premiered at SXSW over the weekend. 

The shoes – produced by American corporation Nike, Inc – were created for Hall of Fame former basketball player Michael Jordan during his time with the Chicago Bulls in 1984 and released to the public on April 1, 1985.

Damon plays sports exec Sonny Vaccaro as he hears about how both sales and growth in Nike's basketball division are trending downward.

Nike founder Phil Knight, played by Affleck, tells Vaccaro to come up with a pitch for a new shoe, which leads him to have the idea of formulating a brand around upcoming player Michael Jordan.

Viola Davis, who stars as Michael Jordan's mom in the film, praised Affleck as a director to the The Hollywood Reporter
