In the past few years 'intimacy coordinators' have become much more common on Hollywood film sets.
These coordinators aim to help actors safely film sex scenes, however, Australian actress Toni Collette has said they actually make her feel more uncomfortable.
The 50-year-old revealed that she has even asked these workers to leave film sets because they make her feel more anxious about her racy scenes.
Toni, who has been acting professionally for over 30 years, said she preferred filming sex scenes before intimacy coordinators became the standard for big budget movies.
'I think it’s only been a couple of times where they’ve been brought in, and I have very much trusted and felt at ease with the people I was working with,' she told The Sunday Times.

'It just felt like those people who were brought in to make me feel more at ease were actually making me feel more anxious, they weren’t helping, so I asked them to leave.'
Intimacy coordinators aim to help actors feel more comfortable by giving them barricades, talking to them about how they are feeling, and altering scenes if they are feeling uncomfortable.
