Fans loved him for his outrageous politically incorrect humour.
But it looks like radio legend Guido Hatzis has hung up his black curly wig and tracksuit for good.
Guido, who rose to fame on Triple M's notorious Crud radio show in the 1990s, was a character created by Tony Moclair, who now presents 3AW's Australia Overnight.
Known for his outrageous claims, hairy chest, bad taste and awful dance moves, some critics saw Guido as a slur against certain 'ethnic stereotypes'.
Despite this, the character acquired a huge following.
