Richard Wilkins' son Christian Wilkins has addressed a photo circulating online of his famous father supposedly getting arrested by police.
In the viral image, the TV veteran, 68, is seen being swooped by police officers in a Sydney park.
Wearing baggy jeans, a navy T-shirt layered with a hoodie and a puffer jacket, the Today show entertainment reporter looks angry as he is handcuffed.
Two of the police officers hold Richards' arms while he has his hands behind his back, and a third officer appears to be filing a report.
But the photo isn't all it appears to be - the realistic picture is actually an AI-generated image which has Richard's face photoshopped on a criminal's body.

Richard's son Christian spoke out about the fake photos in his Instagram Story on Friday, assuring fans his TV presenter dad hadn't been arrested.
He also made a lighthearted joke about his father's fashion choices.
'For those wondering, yes these posts are fake,' he said.

'There's no way (Richard Wilkins) would be seen not wearing skinny jeans.'
It comes after rumours Richard is getting ready to tie the knot for a fourth time.
Sources close to the Weekend Today host say he wants to make a commitment to former flight attendant Nicola Dale, whom he has been dating since 2020.
'Dickie may be 68, but he's got a lot of life left in him. He's now more than ready to finally settle down,' a source told New Idea.
