Jon Hamm will be joining the cast of the Mean Girls musical movie, which will be released on Paramount +.

The Mad Men star, 52, is set to play the role of the incompetent, bumbling sex-ed instructor and resident gym teacher Coach Carr, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The original character warned students about awkward ways they could 'die' and was played in the 2004 movie by Dwayne Hill.

'At your age, you're going to have a lot of urges,' said Coach Carr in one hilarious scene. 'You're going to want to take off your clothes and touch each other. But if you do touch each other, you will get chlamydia... and die.'

The Mean Girls plot follows teenager Cady Heron, who moves from Africa with her parents to the suburbs of Illinois, where she gets caught up in the social hierarchy of her new high school. She quickly falls in with a popular clique known as the Plastics, but things soon turn ugly.
