Ricki-Lee Coulter has spoken about her success after kick-starting her career on Australian Idol back in 2004.

The 37-year-old told The Daily Telegraph on Sunday, she is 'very proud' of herself after almost 20 years in the music industry.

'I am really proud that I have sustained a career for almost 20 years and had all of the crazy, wild amazing success that I've had, but I've worked my a** off for it,' she said.

Ricki-Lee went on to discuss her new single On My Own, which will be released on March 31.

'Whatever I have been through in my life, personal or in my career, the ups and downs, I know that I will always figure it out,' she explained.
