The 2023 season of Australian Idol came to a chaotic end on Sunday night.
Royston Sagigi-Baira emerged victorious but it was the epic spill from runner-up Phoebe Stewart that had viewers talking.
The 15-year-old tripped down the stairs as she approached the hosts for the final decision and landed in a heap on the ground.
Royston, 23, rushed to help her up, and the teen took it in her stride, joking that someone should make a meme of the embarrassing moment.
'Good role models don't to that, guys. That's not a good example. Continue' she said awkwardly before the show went on.
