Since bursting onto the showbiz scene as a CITV presenter in the Nineties, Stephen Mulhern has gone on to become of the most in-demand stars on TV.

The presenter, 45, has hit the headlines as the new host of Deal or No Deal, taking over Noel Edmonds' role on the iconic gameshow six years after it was axed from Channel 4

Airing on ITV1 and ITVX, the programme will see contestants battle it out against the notorious Banker to be in with a chance of winning a life-changing cash prize, in a nail-biting game of nerves and intuition.

Presented with 22 sealed boxes all containing a different cash amount, the contestants take on a game of chance by gambling on having a high amount in their chosen box and eliminating the remaining boxes.

Now, MailOnline reveals everything you need to know about Stephen Mulhern as he prepares to take on one of TV's most beloved game shows.
