Netflix viewers have been left outraged after popular crime series Young Wallander was cancelled by the streaming service after two seasons.
It is the latest in a long list of cancellations, which has seen shows such as 1899, Uncoupled and Ridley Jones all axed.
The series, which debuted in 2020, was based on the origin story of Henning Manskell's inspector Kurt Wallander, played by Adam Palsson.
Although it was released to rave reviews, the show has not been renewed for a third season, according to What's on Netflix.
Fans took to Twitter to express their dismay at the news, with one saying: 'What I really liked the series. Really Netflix...'
