Ryan Connor's injuries have been revealed in behind-the-scenes photos from the acid attack on Coronation Street.
In horror scenes that aired on Monday, Daisy's Midgeley's wedding day was thrown into chaos when her stalker Justin turned up to the Rovers after she got him arrested for assaulting her.
Justin advanced on Daisy holding a glass full of clear liquid, telling Daisy that no one will want her after this, but as he threw the acid, Ryan quickly stepped in between them taking the full force.
Daisy called 999 as Ryan writhed in agony on the floor, his skin burning from the acid attack, and listening to the operator's instructions, dragged Ryan into the shower and turned on the water.
She cut away his melting shirt while drenching him in water to try and wash away the acid before it ate away at his skin.

Ryan was rushed to hospital and had to undergo surgery to remove the damaged tissue.
The aftermath of the horrific attack will be the focus of upcoming scenes on the ITV programme, with Ryan coming to terms with his life-long injuries.
Now those injuries have been shown in behind-the-scenes snaps from the show, showing Ryan Prescott, who plays Ryan, in special effects make-up.
The 34-year-old can be seen to be wearing prosthetics to resemble deep scarring across the side of his face and neck.
Ryan also posed for a photo with one of the skilled make-up artists who had helped achieve the realistic look.
Speaking on This Morning on Tuesday, Ryan said Coronation Street would be focussing on Ryan's recovery long into the future.
He said: 'That's one thing we wanted to include was to have some longevity within the parameters of soap, which obviously moves very quickly. We wanted to have some kind of longevity in the aftermath.
'Acid attack survivors go through hundreds of operations, multiple skin grafts and quite often a lifetime of post-traumatic stress disorder.
'We want to show the different stages of his recovery.'
Speaking ahead of the episodes' broadcast, Ryan admitted that viewers will see the aftermath of Ryan's attack in upcoming episodes, after Daisy sprung into action to try and prevent the acid from causing longterm damage.
