Drew Barrymore reunites with Ever After castmates in costume for 25th ... trends now

On Tuesday, The Drew Barrymore Show producer-host Drew Barrymore hosted a special "25th anniversary reunion for her film Ever After alongside three original cast members.

The 48-year-old former child star's team had 'about a week' to recreate Jenny Beavan's 16th century costumes for the nostalgic segment.

Drew - who starred as Danielle de Barbarac - enlisted Matthew Kilgore to create her Cinderella-inspired gold-and-peach embellished gown, and Deanna Bridges crafted her custom wings.

Barrymore 'literally can't even believe' she got to share the moment with Melanie Lynskey and Megan Dodds, who played her nice and evil stepsisters Jacqueline and Marguerite de Ghent.

The Sherman Oaks native was 'so jealous' that her co-stars got to share a 'massive, great house with a gorgeous view of the Dordogne River Valley' in the South of France during production.

The 53-year-old NoCal native revealed that she and the 45-year-old Kiwi sporadically decided to 'take topless photos in a cornfield' of each other because it would be 'groovy.'

'I cannot love it more!' Drew gushed.

'By the way, this was, like, day three of knowing each other,' Melanie noted.

'And the suggestion was made, and I was, like, okay sure!'

Megan chimed in: 'A little ice breaker!'

At that point, Barrymore welcomed her onscreen love interest Dougray Scott, who played Prince Henry of France in Ever After.

The Scottish 57-year-old personally thanked the seven-time Emmy nominee for 'going to bat' for him during the discouraging audition process at the time.

Drew marveled at the fact that we've been telling little girls 'to wait for the prince to rescue them' in Charles Perrault's 1697 fairytale Cinderella for 'centuries' and 'never thought twice.'
