Friends of Trinny Woodall have revealed the reason behind the fashion expert's shock split from partner of ten years Charles Saatchi.
Last week Trinny, 59, sparked speculation that she and long-term love, 79, had split by revealing that she has 'moved house'.
Now pals have suggested it was the couple's 20-year age gap that caused issues in their relationship.
Speaking to The Sun, friends of Trinny said she felt it was 'time to move on' and 'their age difference started to become an issue.

'Charles wants to slow down,' the source revealed. 'He prefers quiet evenings at home while Trinny feels the opposite.
'She feels she's in her prime and wants to be out and about.'
Trinny, 59, has been dating Saatchi, 79, for 10 years – since he split from wife Nigella Lawson – but the make-up and beauty mogul said on Instagram on Friday that she was moving forward.
She posted: 'It's a new day, it's a new dawn, it's a new life.' She added: 'I have been moving but now I have moved.'
She is currently on a skiing holiday with her family in France where they own a chalet.
An emotional sounding Trinny said: 'I have looked out at this view for the last 30 years of my life. It's the one consistent view I have ever had.'
'Recently with the big life change and moving house it was important for me to come back here with (daughter) Lyla and family just to have that moment, listen to the birds, be at one with nature. Very healing.'
