Owen Wilson learned the hard way that You Can't Always Get What You Want, especially when you get in the way of a Mick Jagger stage performance.

During an appearance on "The Late Late Show With James Corden "on Tuesday, the actor revealed he had a lifetime laminate pass, giving him access to any Rolling Stones show in the world, rescinded after just one day.

Wilson, who had gotten the ultimate hook-up of a lifetime through a friend, walked to an area of the stage during a Stones show in Argentina that was unknowingly off-limits.

'I was kind of friendly with some of the band and then my friend was really good friends with Mick Jagger,' the funnyman, 54, explained. 'We got [presented with] these special laminates, kind of all access, that were good for the rest of your life.'

Enhancing the importance of the lifetime passes, Wilson went on to share that his Rolling Stones fandom dated back to the early 1980s, when he saw the band on the Tattoo You Tour, which was his first-ever concert experience.

'That night, at the concert, I'm kind of wandering around and testing it out — like, "I'm going to walk over here and see if anybody stops me." And no one would stop me any place,' he told Corden and fellow guest Jeff Goldblum.

'I ended up right at this place where I could look over and see Mick Jagger on the stage, and right there and then, all of a sudden, he bolts during Jumpin' Jack Flash and comes running down.'

The Behind Enemy Lines star revealed the always energetic Jagger ended up running directly towards him, which caught him completely off guard.

'It turns out, where I was, was kind of part of the stage a little bit, so I just sort of froze and tried to be inconspicuous, and he kinda came down and left,' the Dallas, Texas native recalled, adding, 'And then someone came running over, [shouting,] "Get out of here!
