Teyana Taylor will be taking on the role of playing Dionne Warwick in a forthcoming biopic.
While appearing on an upcoming episode of the Tamron Hall Show, the 32-year-old multi-hyphenate talent revealed that she would be portraying the music icon in a new film.
The A Thousand And One actress also told the host of the eponymous talk show that production on the project has already started and is currently underway.
'We're already working on it,' the dancer — who choreographed the music video for Beyonce's Ring the Alarm — said in a clip shared to Billboard. 'We're in the building process right now.'
A title and release date for the biopic telling the story of the 82-year-old hitmaker — which Warwick herself previously hinted was 'in the works' two years ago — has not yet been revealed.
