Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, revealed that the Los Feliz home she sold to Brad Pitt in 1994 was extremely 'haunted.'

Despite warning the movie star of alleged paranormal activity and sightings on the property, the 71-year-old horror legend recalled the Oscar winner, 59, was 'very excited' about residing among the supernatural presences.

'We were just kind of warning him that a lot of weird things have been going on there in the house since we moved in,' she told People, days after news broke that he successfully offloaded the compound for a whopping $39 million. 'He thought that was really cool.'

The mother-of-one continued: 'I've seen people walking around upstairs, for example, real people just walking. One time [a ghost was] sitting downstairs in front of the fireplace, once walking into my bedroom and back out.'

Even her sighting of a 'person floating around at the bottom of the pool' did not scare the father-of-six away from purchasing the property.

Spooky: Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, revealed that the Los Feliz home she sold to Brad Pitt in 1994 was extremely 'haunted'

While the Yours Cruelly, Elvira author acknowledged her ghost stories sound 'nutty,' she insisted she 'wasn't high' and does not experience 'hallucinations.'

'I can't explain those things,' she said, referring to the spooky occurrences that began almost immediately after she moved in with her ex-husband Mark Pierson.

The creepy events even led her and Pierson, 66, to hire a 'priest come in to do an exorcism' because she no longer felt comfortable living there.

Still, the tales did not deter Pitt, who replied: 'Oh, that's so awesome.'

'I mean, there are not many buyers who that would be a selling point,' she mused. 'Brad was just wonderful. And I met his mom and dad at one time. They were such sweet people. He was always kind and sweet.'

She went on to commend him as 'just the perfect person to buy it' because of his love of architecture.

It comes just ahead of the April 1 start date for Los Angeles' new 'mansion tax' which is reportedly the reason for the recent uptick in A-listers fleeing the affluent area.

Measure ULA will require those selling off properties worth more than $5million to pay a 4% transfer tax. Sales that exceed $10million will have to a 5.5% tax
