John Wick spin-off Ballerina which will star Ana de Armas has a release date amid Chapter 4's success at the box office

The action flick centered around the 34-year-old Oscar nominee will be hitting theaters on June 7, 2024.

Ana will be portraying an assassin trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma which are the largest subgroup of the Romani people in Russia and Belarus and trained John Wick.

Her character Rooney uses her killer skills to avenge the death of her family by hitmen.

Shay Hatten wrote the script which is based on characters by Derek Kolstad with Len Wiseman directing.

Ballerina has filmed in Europeans including Czech Republic and Prague.

The film is also set to star the late Lance Reddick, Anjelica Huston, Norman Reedus, Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Ian McShane, and of course Keanu Reeves. 

It was reported back in November that John Wick franchise star will reprise his role in the spin-off according to Collider.

It remains unclear how prominent Reeves' role will be in the film.

Back in January, Ana revealed that her body has been battered by combat scenes with Keanu – who is reprising his role as the hitman Wick.
