Nutsa and Lucy Love were saved by the judges on Monday's episode of American Idol on ABC and advanced along with 10 other singers into the show's Top 12.

'We're nuts for Nutsa!' Luke Bryan, 46, and Katy Perry, 38, both yelled together as they announced Nutsa was moving forward.

Nutsa after earlier being singled out by Katy over her use of glitter was shocked and put her hands over her face and dropped to her knees in surprise. She then got up and hugged the other contestants.

The 25-year-old singer from Tbilisi, Georgia, wore a silver strapless sequined dress while she was the final performer during the two-hour episode.

Show host Ryan Seacrest, 48, told her that she was not immediately voted into the Top 12 by the audience and had to sing to win one of the judges two saves to move on.

Nutsa put her heart into performing And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going from Dreamgirls and all the judges gave her a standing ovation.

'Great job,' Luke said. 'I can't imagine the pressure you were under and you just knocked that out of the park. And your journey to get here, so inspiring.'

Ryan asked Katy if she was stressed having to make this decision after all the performances.

'Yeah, I haven't drank for nine weeks and I think I'm starting back again tonight,' Katy quipped.

'Before that let's get the results,' Ryan said.

Lionel Richie, 73, broke the news to Lucy, 28, a mother from Holly Grove, Arkansas, that she had been saved by the judges.

Lucy didn't hesitate after learning from Ryan that she needed to win the judges over to stay in the competition. She performed the Imagine Dragons hit Radioactive and the crowd cheered for her chanting her name. Lionel kept saying 'I don't know' when she finished.

'Listen, listen, listen, if I have to bet on anybody, I am going to bet on you!' Lionel said. 'Unbelievable.'

Ryan asked the judges how they were going to decide.

'This is not what we read in the fine print,' Katy said. 'I love all these people. They can all sing better than us.'

Lionel also told all the contestants that they were already winners for making the top 20 and performing at the live Hollywood shows.

Wé Ani, 24, started the show and was told she was the first member of the top 12. Wearing a bright yellow top with feathered cuffs, Wé took the stage after Ryan gave her the good news and she sang This Is Me from The Greatest Showman. The judges gave her a standing ovation.

Michael Williams, 21, from Mason, Ohio, went next. Ryan told him that he did not make it to the top 12.

'You are going to sing for survival,' Ryan said.

Michael performed Golden Hour by JVKE.

'I think the people who didn't vote for you didn't vote for you because they were jealous of you,' Katy said when he finished.

Hannah Nicholaisen, 24, a recruiter from Houston, learned from Ryan that she also had to sing for survival and he wished her good luck. Hannah, wearing a gold dress, then sang the hit Lorde song Royals.
