Shaun Ryder revealed he has lost two stone since leaving I'm A Celebrity... South African by using Ozempic, but claims those who use it for the sake of vanity 'need professional help.'
The Happy Mondays star, 60, became the first to leave camp on Friday alongside Gillian McKeith.
Shaun, who first appeared on the show in 2010, has now revealed the reason behind his new look since it was filmed last summer.
He admitted he has been using controversial weight loss jab Ozempic, a drug used for type two diabetes.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, he said: 'My thyroid is underactive, so it doesn't matter if you just eat lettuce you'll still be f**king fat but since I did the jungle I've lost a load of weight.

'I think I was 16 Stone and now I'm down to 14 because of them jabs you stick in your belly, that they say the Kardashians are on? Ozempic. I've been on them and I've lost two stone.'
Shaun, who has an underactive thyroid and alopecia, has used the appetite suppressing jab for obesity.
By injecting it into his stomach, Shaun has been able to get back into his favourite hobby of cycling.
However he added that others who rely on it need to seek 'professional help'.
