Sir Elton John says he 'may perform the odd show' after retiring following his Goodbye Yellow Brick Road tour.
The music legend, 76, confirmed he will 'not be going on tour again' after his current series of shows comes to an end in Stockholm, Sweden on July 8.
He admitted he is looking forward to 'a little bit of freedom' following being away from his husband David Furnish and two children Zach, 12, and Elijah, eight.
The hitmaker added: 'Touring is exhausting for me now, and it takes me away from my family and my children.'
The singer will occasional play shows such as the Emmy promotion evening in Los Angeles to promote his new Disney plus show Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.
