Channel Seven pulled the sketch comedy series We Interrupt This Broadcast from its streaming platform 7plus on Monday, following the tragic death of MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo.

The program, which features comedians parodying popular TV shows, includes skits about MasterChef with sly references to how the contestants like to spin 'sob stories' out of personal tragedies.

One sketch depicts a fictional episode of MasterChef in which an actor playing Zonfrillo asks a contestant if her risotto dish was inspired by her dead grandmother.

'No, but she's very old,' the contestant replies.

'It's not out of the question she could die in the next seven to twelve years. I hope that when she dies this risotto will make her proud.'

'This risotto was a war crime but your sob story might have saved you,' the actor playing Zonfrillo responds.

In light of Zonfrillo's death, Channel Seven has pulled all episodes of We Interrupt This Broadcast from 7plus. Any attempt to search for the program brings up the message: 'We couldn't find any results.'

Daily Mail Australia has contacted the Seven Network for comment.
