Kim Kardashian's daughter North West waited in a car while her mother walked the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday evening.
The 42-year-old reality television personality told "Vogue reporters that her eldest child, aged nine, was 'watching' her mother from the sidelines as she walked the star-studded red carpet.
The influencer, who had a reunion with her ex Pete Davidson at the Gala, and her daughter were, however, spotted in each other's company while leaving the Ritz-Carlton prior to the event.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the age restriction mandating that attendees be at least 18 years old was first put in place in 2018.
Prior to that year, children such as Willow Smith had been invited to the star-studded event.
