Ice Spice sat down with Billboard this week and opened up about being compared to Princess Diana.
The Munch hitmaker, 23 – who recently cemented her place on the A-list by attending the Met Gala – spoke about becoming rap royalty this past year and how her fans have christened her the 'People's Princess.'
Speaking to Billboard, Ice Spice said she was initially confused by the comparison, but quickly embraced it because the late princess is so 'iconic.'
The Bikini Bottom rapper said: 'I saw all of my supporters being like, "She’s the People’s Princess! She’s Princess Diana!"'
'At first, I was confused. I was like, "Um, Princess Diana? Out of everybody?" But [then] I was like, "F–k it, she’s iconic."'
